If you have not videoconferenced with the National Space Centre before it is recommended that a test connection be performed before your mission. It is also a good idea to do a test if you or your internet connection providers have changed some settings recently.
In short - it’s always a good idea to test unless you are very confident.
If you are very worried about videoconferencing or that you may have trouble connecting, please book a test connection well in advance of your mission.
The National Space Centre offers six opportunities per week to test your videoconference system with us. Please call the Bookings Team on 0116 258 2111 to reserve a 30 minute test connection.

When you reserve a test connection you will need to leave a contact phone number. You will be called on the phone at the reserved time. Please have the VC equipment connected and ready.
The National Space Centre cannot be responsible for loss or lack of connection due to third party actions beyond our control. However we will work hard to try to make sure that your e-Mission can go ahead as planned.
